It has long been the vision of Montblanc to transcend their extraordinary success of producing the highest quality writing instruments into the luxurious crafting of other fine products. They should embody excellence, longevity and carry a unique style that will never become dated.
It was only a matter of time that Montblanc would expand into the watch industry. With it's membership in the Vendome Luxury Group, it holds it's position within the ranks of other luxury watch giants such as Cartier, Dunhill, Piaget, Baume et Mercier and Vacheron Constantin. This vision was ultimately realized by Montblanc Montre S.A. watch factory in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1997.
Since it's launch, Montblanc timepieces have been highly in demand and prestigiously regarded. Each watch carries the Meisterstuck stamping on the underside of the casing as well as the renowned white star logo, certifying each piece with Montblanc quality and perfected craftsmanship. All timepieces are inscribed with an individual serial number making it as precious as the time spent with it. The Montblanc star can be found either set in the crown, stamped on the fastener of the leather strap, or in the counter poise of the large second hand.
